Employees in New York Granted Leave to Receive COVID-19 Vaccination

The state of New York has passed legislation granting both public and private employees time off from work to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Employees will be granted up to four hours of excused leave per injection.  This leave will not be charged against any other leave the employee has earned or accrued.  The bill will remain in effect until the end of 2022.
